I am the manager at the auditing and accounting department of Bank Of Africa (B.O.A) here in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

In my department we discovered an abandoned sum of US$6.7mdollars ( US dollars) in an account that belonging to one of our foreign customer.

Since we got information about his death, we have been expecting his next of kin to come over and claim his money because we cannot release it unless some body applies for it as next of kin or relation to the deceased as indicated in our banking gildings and laws but unfortunately we learnt
that all his supposed next of kin or relation died alongside with him at the plane crash leaving nobody behind for the claim.

It is therefore upon this discovery that I now decided to make this business proposal to you and release the money to you as the next of kin or relation to the deceased for safety and subsequent isbursement since nobody is coming for it and we don't want this money to go into the bank treasury as unclaimed bill.
The banking law and guidline here stipulates that if such money remained unclaimed after fours years, the money will be transfered into the bank treasury as unclaimed fund. The request of foreigner as next of kin in this business is occassioned by the fact that the customer was a foreigner
and a Burkinabe cannot stand as next of kin to a foreigner.

I agree that 30% of this money will be for you as a respect to the provision of a foriegn account ,10% will be set aside for expenses incurred during the business and 60% would be for me.

Thereafter, I will visit your country for disbursement according to the percentage indicated Therefore, to enable the immediate transfer of this fund to your desiggnited bank account ,you must apply first to the bank as a relation or next of kin of the deceased with a text of application that i will send to you,so i will ike you to send to me your private telephone and fax number for easy and effective communication and location where in the money will be remitted. Upon receipt of your reply, I will send to you by fax or email the text of the application .

I will not fail to bring to your notice this transaction is hitch-free and that you should not entertain any atom of fear as all required arrangements have been made for the transfer.

Thank you for replying so quickly. I have been going through a rough financial period and I have been praying to the dear Lord for help. Imagine my surprise when I find your email waiting for me!

Although this is a new thing for me, I agree with you that like the Good Book says, "God helps those who help themselves". Any obstacles or fear that would naturally arise in my heart are obstacles that God has chosen me to overcome. I will be as courageous and determined as you are so we can both benefit.

Trust in my confidence Mustapha. I understand that you are taking a risk in doing this and I simply do not want anyone to lose their job on account of anything I did. I could not forgive myself should that happen.

I look forward to welcoming your family to this great country. However, I am concerned because I do not live in a very large house. I live in a small condominium and I do not have enough room for many people. How big is your family?

Mustapha,

This is so exciting! You see, I am elderly and my son doesn't visit me very often. He only comes by when he needs money and he always tells me how he knows more than I do. I would simply love to make him eat his words! Hopefully, with your help, I will finally get the respect from him that I have lost.

I know it's hard to believe but in this country, the young people do not respect the elderly. We are thought of as a burden and not as a source of wisdom. I hope your culture is not similar.

No one except my son visits me. I am very excited at the prospect of having some company over. You never did tell me about your family. How many children do you have? I hope you have a daughter. I always wanted a daughter but I had two sons. One of them died in the war.

I am truly grateful for this opprotunity and the friendship we are developing. It seems that people nowadays do not want to take the time to connect with each other. I am truly blessed you have chosen me as your partner.

You asked me for my picture before. It took me a while to find a recent one that I would like to share but I finally found one! That's my favorite hat!

Mustapha,

I am quite worried. I have not heard from you in a few days. I thought of you today and that is why I am writing. My son visited me today and I visited him. I went to the cemetery and laid a live bullet on his grave in his memory. I told you he perished in the war right? I was very sad today but I always cheer myself up by thinking that he passed on doing what he loved to do, wash cars. It was unfortunate accident involving young soldiers, wet sponges, a jeep and an antique single shot pistol. I'm sorry. I really can't go into any more details. I get really sad when I think about it.

But my other son came by and you know what he was asking for right? Money. That's all I am good for. You would think that he could at least wait for his inhertiance. It's not like he needs it. I have given him everything he has ever wanted and he knows how much he will get when I join his brother. Why is it that the good one disappear so quickly. I know it is a terrible thing to say but I feel so used when he asks for more money. Do you have any idea what he wanted this time? He wanted to buy an Italian sports car! He already has three of them! Why would he want more? You can't drive all those cars at the same time. I think I gave them too much when they were young. Do you think I was too generous? I hope not. I really like helping people and I would be very sad if I made that kind of mistake.

My son did tell me that I have this spam filter thingy that prevents email to get to me. Is this true? I'm not very good with these new computers. I hope that your reply did not get stuck in this spamy thing. I wouldn't know how to retrieve it.

Please let me know you are ok. How is your family? I hope you did not get in trouble at work. Can we still do this deal? I would LOVE to surprise my son...that bastard...
